I Love You

Three words

Eight letters

A mouth full of lies

and a lifetime of tears

Not knowing what it means

But knowing how it feels

We're taught how to love

Never knowing when to stop

And when it comes to an end

Our lives fall apart

We fall on our faces

We lose all our hope

our past takes over

inner demons unfold

We hate the whole world

And all that's inside

we’re living our lives

but our poor hearts have died
