I love you he said

I love you he said,

over and over,

and i said i love you too.

everytime.

Then he hit me, and i wasnt sure that was right,

but he said sorry so isnt it alright?

then he yelled at me saying everything is my fault,

i cried, and he pushed me.

I realized this isnt love,

this isnt for me,

love is where you care,

where you're safe,

hugs instead of punches,

sweet words instead of profanities,

i want love.. real love,

i want what they have in movies,

the flowers, the chocolates,

the thats my babygirl and thats my man,

i want a best friend, another half,

i want my own kind of love.
