I love you more than yesterday.

No one thought I was ready;

They said I was too young.

I would ruin my future- 

when it was all said and done.

 

Some called it crazy, but

I knew it would be okay. 

Everyday you guys got bigger,

I got more excited.

I did not kow the first thing about parenting,

I had no support and no money.

but I had love in my heart, 

and that was the best place to start.

 

The first breaths of baby A and baby B

took my own away. 

In that instant, being a mom became real;

no one prepared me for the emotions I would feel.

My life is filled with purpose, 

and is forever changed.

I no longer feel sorrow.

I love you more than yesterday, 

but not as much as tomorrow.
