I love you, My son.

Father, I have come short of your glory,

Everyday I ask you to renew my strength but I fail,

You see me smile and ask for more blessings,
But my true, human intent is to leave you the first chance I get,
You look down at me and smile,
Saying "I love you, my son"
I say "I love you, my Father"
But only one truly means this statement,
I give up on you constantly to stick to my own understandings,
my own, foolish ways,
You renew me and give me chances but inevitably I will fail,
I am not a Biblical scholar who can give you answers to any question about the Bible,
I am not a great evangelist,
I am not a constant follower of Your word,
You love me for who I am,
I constantly betray you,
But yet You still love me......
