I loved

I loved.

I loved with my heart, my soul, and my mind.

I loved until I could feel nothing but love.

I loved till I was numb.

But you never noticed. You never cared.

You never noticed enough to care nor cared enough to notice.

But I loved.

I loved with everything I had.

What else was I to do? You were there and I was there.

We were there together.

For once I knew I could love.

And still I love.
