I Loved Him

"I love him" she said in her head.

"I love him" she thought, as she watched him smile.

"I love him" she said as she fell asleep in bed.

"I love him" was on her mind as he kissed her cheeks.

"I love him" was what she thought as he slept beside her.

"I love him" was what she felt when she was with him.

"I love him" she replied to her friends who then sighed.

"I love him" she shouted to the ones who doubted her.

"I love him" she whispered as she cut slits in her wrists.

"I love him" she cried as she struggled to move.

"I love him" she said as she popped the lid off the bottle.

"I love him" she thought as she held her breath under water.

"I love him" she choked as she tried to breath.

"I love him" was on her mind as the paramedics pulled up.

"I love him" was written on the letter found in her sweater.

"I love him" was what she mumbled as they strapped her down.

"I love him" she said as her eyes glazed over. "I.Love.Him."

"She loved him" the nurse said, as she pressed her fingers on the wounds that bled.

"She loved him" all her friends would say."She talked about him everyday."

"She loved him" the stranger said. "her heart led the way."

"She loved you" they told him.

"She loved you" he was told.

"She loved you" her friends would scold.

"She loved you" her sister said. "Why? why would you let her go?"

"You let her die." his heart told him.  He took a shaking hand and found her letter tucked away in the pocket of his own sweater. Reading the letter, tears streamed down his cheeks. "I loved her" he thought, as he took the bullet and pulled the trigger.

"They loved each other," the preacher began. He took out two crumbled up pieces of paper. "They did."
