I loved you

There was once a time where I could see you in the hallway & not feel a thing. but that isn’t how it is now that I loved you. my heart flew at the sound of your name. and my lips curved into a smile at the sound of your voice. I can remember a moment in time when a simple word from you could turn my anger into happiness. when your arms around me felt like home. but that was, hell, a long time ago. now, I hear your name & my heart breaks a second time. my jaw clenches from sadness, anger, envy. I taste & feel your lips on mine & my hands shake. they tremble. my heart beats with such a desperation to get rid of your memory. and now the passion I loved you with, is now the passion I use to forget you.
