I made Him cry
Warning! This is a spiritual, Christian poem. If you're a Christian read on. Bless you.
If you're not Christian...still read on :) Bless you, all the same even though you won't care.
If you're somebody who's only interested in tearing down others' beliefs...maybe you should move on, but
you're still welcome to read on (you need the blessings more than anyone else).
"I made Him cry"
Do you remember a time when you thought
the world would never end?
Can you remember a time when you thought
sin was your best friend?
What would you do if you could
change one thing?
What would it be if you could
have one dream?
I'd take back the time;
if I could change one thing...
the time I made Him cry;
if I could have one dream.
Because I, I made my Savior cry.
I, I made my Savior die.
When He stained that Holy Tree
with His Holy Blood for me
did I care at all
for the One who loved my soul
more than His own life?
I, I made my Savior cry.
I, I made my Savior die.
Did He curse my name
when He breathed His last?
What more did He say
than His Prayer to ask
for my forgiveness?
I, I made my Savior cry.
I, I made my Savior die.
He came to earth,
He came and saw
that I love my crimes,
I love them more than his Law.
So, why? Why did my Savior cry?
Why, why did my savior die?
And I, I made my Savior cry.
I, I made Jesus die.
