I Made Me
I am a diamond in the rough waiting to be taken out
I am a rose amongst thorns
I am a jewel in the pig's snout
I am a pearl in the oyster being tossed about by storms
When you see flaws in me, you're not looking hard enough
When you see flaws in me, you're looking at those things which surround me

I made myself because I have what it takes
I made myself flawless because flawless is all I know
Trees, birds, grass, worms all wish they were flawless
while I see no flaws in them, they simply see too many
Mountains, snow, crumbs, crows all wish they were flawless
while, to me, they are
