I matter

My call sign could be #nofilter.

Never do I hide what I want to say or what I have to say.

I don’t want to hide what I think

How does that help the world?

My ideas they matter.

Your ideas, they matter too.

When I say Christ loves you to an Atheist it’s because

My ideas matter.

When you tell me God is dead it’s because

Your ideas matter.

I matter, and you matter.

Whether I say you are stupid, the country spends too much, no matter what,

My ideas matter.

I want us all to feel we matter.

The thoughts swirling in my head matter.

The jeans I wear that are loose, to hide a body I despise.

No because it is ugly, but because it is prized.

I hide in big not fitting clothes hoping to not be noticed.

My ideas matter, not my body.

My mind should be the prize, not the appendage.

#nofilter.

Leave my body to me you thirsty asses.

My mind is full of beautiful things.

I think up faraway land, I figure out the reason for chemical equations.

I write papers and poetry, I write stories of my own and fanfics.

I work hard, I get A’s in college classes.

I know my limits, I know who loves me.

I know me, and you never will.

My ideas Matter, so don’t objectify me.

I am not a sex toy. I Matter.

This is me. Without my filter.
