I Messed Up

Your promises are like morning kisses.

You haven't broken one yet

but if you ever do

my whole day will be ruined

and somehow I'll blame it

on me.

That's what I always do.

But you're different

If you hurt me it would be my fault

we never agreed to let our hearts feel.
