I miss you

Of course I look fine, I'm used to this I've always been broken, I'm not new to this But something is different, I can not be fixed Cause I'm not just broken, but shatters to bits You see all my life, hope slipped away But the motivation itself, had always stayed All my life, things crumbled down But I'd always have a solid ground But the earth has slipped right from my feet Against the world I admit defeat I can not fight all on my own And why fight a war without a home A home A home is not just a place to go But rather a person you love and know A home is a place where you feel safe But in theses walls I feel incased To lose a home is to lose yourself To be trapped in walls is to be trapped in hell When every hallway mimics darkness And every living room feels so heartless Do you not run from the shadow of home, Do find a place where your not so alone? Do you not run to those you love, Who in their eyes, you're always enough? But where shall I run when my home is destroyed And the ones that I love have long been deployed? Where shall I run when I have no one left But the memories in these halls, encased in emptiness A home, my home, slaughtered killed All those years I watched it build Now it's gone, unfinished yet Nothing left but the foundation set But a home is not just a place A home is a thing, a person, a long face Although taken before your time, Out of all our homes, you were mine
