I miss you

Everday just sitting in your rockin chair Me sitting right beside you, those were the good days Sippin some sweet ice tea Talking bout High School Ya see bout 20 years ago my Pappy was walkin Walkin down the country road...when Bright lights shined and then my Pappy was gone An age old question,Why do the good die young? I miss your smile and your big bear hugs Your soul was filled with nothing but good So why'd you have to leave me so soon I sit in your rocking chair and reminisce I just wish we could go back Back to the good days Walkin in the park and holdin your hand Sitting on a bench and feeding the pigeons Well Pappy im all grown up now Got a husband and farm and two little boys If only you could see me now Seen me graduate, walk down the aisle and say i do Pappy I miss you, love your babydoll
