I miss you

Dear Grammy,

It is often hard to believe

that you are no longer here.

I hate that you had to leave

and that I can no longer be near,

you.

I miss... you.

Every day, every week, every month

it gets a tiny bit easier.

And every day, every week, every month

I get a little bit crazier,

remembering that you will never again see

all that I am doing and achieving.

Though this is a new reality,

I will never once stop believing

that you are proud of me.

For me you were everything...

are everything.

You taught me that I can do anything,

I just have to work hard.

You taught me to appreciate the silly things,

and the importance of a card.

Because of you I found a love for art,

a way to express my self and stay relaxed.

Please know that you were always in my heart,

even before you passed.

I will always be your Bug,

and I can't wait to see you again and give you the biggest bear hug.

Everything I do

will always and forever be because of you.

All I want you to know,

is that my love for you continues to grow.

Love your Grandgirl,

Mallory (Bug)
