I Miss You
They thought you were perfect.
I thought so too.
But they were wrong
They didn’t really know you.
And one look deep inside-
Enough to shatter all you’ve ever
Ever believed was right
So I tried to piece it together
But you keep falling apart
Falling into the clouds far below
Now I’ve got nothing
‘Cause I tried everything
Maybe one day you’ll realize
That people are here for you in life
Perhaps not now, then later-
They’ll really mean it when they say it
Sobbing as they regretfully cry,
“I miss her.”
