I Miss You
To my loving and caring father,
I’ve missed you for several years.
I’ve missed your contagious smile
and the nights without my tears.
To my loving and caring father,
you were the bravest man I knew.
I miss your heart of gold
and your advice that always rang true.
To my loving and caring father,
I wish I’d died instead.
You were too good for this world
with all the love you spread.
To my loving and caring father,
I think of you everyday.
I hope you get this letter,
From your daughter, happy birthday.
