I Miss You

Honestly, you have the goofiest, cutest grin. & I'm going to miss it, no matter how long it's been. Your dark eyes lit up the place. & It was rare to not see a smile on your face. Your heart is bigger than the ocean. & Your voice and endless, calming motion. So bright, so smart. & So very loving no matter how much we were apart. Each day, you're so very missed. For you were sunshine, that brought me pure bliss. My heart and eyes cry out for you. I wish I could change that day into something new. & I know we talked about death and passing away. But never did I expect to lose you, especially on such an early day. Each day brings memories, sadness, and tears. & I hope so very much that you are near. I won't fib, nor lie... But without you I feel empty inside. I wish you could come back to me. & We could forever be. I have one hope, that we'll be together again one day. & Then after that, it'll be you and I, and that's how it will stay.
