I Miss You
Dear, Alexis.
I know it has been a while
since we last spoke.
Being away isn't my style,
and thinking of you makes me choke.
A picture is worth a thousand words,
but I want you to hear my emotion.
I hope you recieved my records,
so you can hear me while I'm on the ocean.
I cry for you every night;
knowing you can't hear my sobbs and sighs.
But sit by the ocean and you just might
see my tears and the water level rise.
I think of you when I'm in my barrick.
I dream that one day maybe
I'll come home to hold you baby.
Love Derek.
