I miss you, Daddy:(
Dear Father.
I know you can't hear me now from up there,
but it be a nice change of pace
at this point in my life if you could.
I don't know if you would even listen to me now when i say i love you.
I was unkind and spitful at times to you,
I am sorry.
I'm sorry that I let you go away
without saying I love you enough.
Or maybe I did and I just refuse
to accept forgiveness at this point.
I don't feel like I deserved half of the things I have.
Now it's just Mom, Brad and I,
and that's fine for now.
But I secretly worry about the day that she might
move on to soemone else beofre i'm ready to accept another's love into my heart.
By the way,
Mom spilled the secret's of your love life!
She told me all about you,
how SHE proposed to YOU!
I never would've guessed that,
so come back home so I can blackmail you with it, please?
Our house feels so empty without you there on the couch,
waiting to greet me when I got home from school.
I miss you,
I don't know if I can ever tell you how much I do.
I love you,
never, ever doubt that.
I do now and I always have.
Love your daughter,
Cami
