I need

Theres many things i want

Not many things i need

Need a necessity or obligation

Well we need water

We need oxygen

I need a loud nagging hispanic lady

I need my mom
To yell at me that i'm not cooking the rice right

To tell me to clean up my room because it is looking like a pig’s sty.

To hold me when I fear the dark

To assure me that everything will be alright

I need her soft arms to embrace me when I'm scared

And her wise words to steer me right even though i won't listen

And i'm sorry that i won't listen and dont listen

But i need her to tell me that she “ told me so” because she did

She is essential to my well being

Of utter importance and necessity

I need her now and always
