I Need to Help the Earth

Dear Earth,

Your beauty and bright colors mesmerize me.

Unfortunately, however, you’re beauty is wearing off every second, every minute, every day.

Your bright colors are fading away like the blue dye of rewashed jeans.

I can tell by the huge natural disasters, the contaminated air, and the rise of temperature that you

are changing.

I’m afraid of losing you for you are worth more than the treasures that you keep sound.

But I hope that we, the innovators and caretakers of the earth, will help you yield your transformation.

                                                     Love,

                                                          A caretaker
