I need her because she was there when nobody else was

Giving me hugs and kisses daily just because

I need her because she was my mother and my father

Since he left her alone to raise his only daughter

I need her because I know she would do anything for me

Being a single mother, in the military working as hard as can be

I need her because she believes in everything I do

Pushing me to my fullest potential through and through

I need her because she is strong and never gives up

Striving for more everyday thinking it is never enough

I need her because she is my rock, she is my best friend

Holding me down until the very end

I need her because she is all I ever had

Sticking by me through the good and the bad

I need her because I can’t bare a day without her

If she was gone my life would be a blur

I need her because we are one

Joined at the hip until the day is done

I need her because she is my mother,

My father, My friend and there is truly no other
