I need him

What do I need?

I need him,

His voice,

His kiss,

His touch,

His trust.

I need his love.

I need to be near him,

Near the joy that he exudes.

I need to be near his gentle hands,

His gentle voice,

I need him.

He gained the trust of a broken girl,

Betrayed,

And hurt,

And rejected,

Again,

And Again,

And Again,

But with him, I am safe.

No rejection,

No pressure,

No danger.

Only love,

And joy,

And kisses,

And laughter.

I need him.

And he needs me.

I know he does,

He told me so.

He needs my heart,

My soul,

My joy.

I need him, until the day he has no need of me.

(May that never happen.)
