I need you

The reason I breathe is not scientific

The reason I breathe is my sister

By my own hands I would've taken it all away

The pain, rejection, loneliness

No longer would I feel the blood pump through my veins

No longer would I hear the soft, rhythmic sound of my own heart

No longer would I see the ugliness in the mirror

No longer would I feel worthless

I would feel...Nothing

Finally

But her figure stood in the frame

My hands cowarded away from destruction

Her words, her three simple words whispered brought me back to reality

"I need you"
