I Need You

I need you

in my life

more than I need water.

I need you

to hold me in your arms.

I need you

to tell me everything will be okay.

But how can you

because you don't know.

You don't know

how much I care

or how much I want you.

But it's my fault

because I never told you.

I never told you that

I need you

I don't think I ever will

...I can't.

Because once you know

it changes everything.

We can't risk it

...not now.

Not when I realized just how much

I need you.
