I never believed in Santa anyways

The snow always falls longer than it should in Michigan,

But this was the year time started moving faster,

It was Christmas Eve again,

My Grandpa hid his candy canes around the house, my sister always got mad because while colleting them I'd always pass her.

But this was the year I didn't even get to pass my sister,

I was helping clean up the kitchen and I thought they wouldn't start, that someone wouls say, "Where's my sister, we're missing her,"

But no one did.

I continued cleaning and they continued chasing and as the time passed I stopped contemplating.

I knew my time was up, that at this point I was old enough and when I opened my eyes finally,

The world seemed to agree.

The world spins faser when you're focused on so many things at once,

School, friends, sports, dear loved ones and more.

When you reach the age that I am, between adulthood and childhood, always remember that neither one of those things define you,

No succesful adult started off perfectly, and no one with a perfect childhood has a lifetime guarntee for positivity, and humility,

The only thing you know right now is who you are, right now.

If you don't know that yet, find out now, because the longer you wait, the harder it is to figure out.

It's easy to believe that everything is as it seems but there is always some kind of underlying possibility,

I encourage optism in all you do, I hope you live a great life and that you love you.

Don't let other people tell you what you can or cannot say, sometimes you have to shrug it off and tell your second grade teacher that, "I never believed n Santa anyways."
