I Never Cry

I never cry Because I'm not ready to face the pain I hold inside I never cry Because I'll have no one there to wipe my eyes I never cry For the pain I live three sixty five I never cry For all the people on my block victims to homicide I never cry Because I'm used to the fast good-byes I never cry Because I'm used to seeing you cracked up or high I never cry Because I'm used to seeing moms with a black eye I never cry For all the peers who fell to the streets during Junior High I never cry For we rob just to get a sufficient amount of money supply I never cry Because when you've be through so much dirt you learn to hold it all inside I never cry Because I resort to other ways for an alibi I never cry Because I' afraid i'll choke up in a tounge-tie So don't ask me why I never cry
