i never knew.


i never understood the beauty of things until i read it through your eyes.

i never knew such sadness came with such joy.

i never did really understand this.

how could somebody be sad and happy at the same time.

how could someone smile so bright but inside be screaming for help.

how could i have not seen it before.

i never knew.

i never knew that sadness held so much beauty.

i never really thought about it until you.

i never really stopped thinking about it after you.
