I, the One and Only

I am...

Who am I?

One who learns,

absorbs,

adapts,

Not one who destroys,

rampages,

hates

I yearn to help,

heal,

research

I live my life

Mostly in solitude

Happy I may be,

but I wish to break free

To explore the world,

set a foundation for the future

Create the stepping stones

That will one day

Be the path for others like me

I wish to lead the future,

for the sake of all humanity

So,

Who

Am

I?

The best answer

Is often the simplest

I

Am

ME

There are no others like me

And only I can possess

This space in time I possess
