I promise

I promise
It ain't what it seems
You have heard the rumors
But that ain't all me
It ain't what it seems
You heard the lies
But you don't know me
You don't tell
So I don't show
Just forget it
I know the real me
I know how I'm living
And right now I'm a car without head lights
A Christmas tree without lights
But I'll forever be alright
