I Realized

Thru times on the streets and no food to eat

I realized I no longer take life for granted

Thru times of no A/C and no shoes on my feet

I realized I can smile thru defeat

Thru times of zero luck and not a drip of money

I realized how great I can be 

Thru times of happiness and love

I realized how much those I love truly mean to me

Thru times of harship and sickness 

I realized their is only one me

Thru times of no confidence and little hope

I realized how much I can succeed
