I Really Like Trees

I really like trees

The birds, the sky, and nature

Makes me really happy

Trees are so big

They grow so tall so fast

I wish I could become

That tall that fast

I really like trees

Quiet and comforting

A moment of peace

Trees don’t move fast

They take it slowly and calmly

I wish I could do things

So slowly and calmly

I really like trees

Remind me of the wild

So confident and carefree

Trees have freedom

They can grow into anything they want

I wish I could grow into

Anything I want

I really like trees

Grow up and only up

Knowing so clearly

Trees know what they’re doing

They have a clear path of growth

I wish that I had

A clear path of growth

I really like trees

Then I realized

I might be a tree

Who faced life so bravely

I have more to overcome

My life just started

There will be pain but also fun

So where will I take it?
