I remember
I remember the first time I saw you,
I remember you were sitting there with your family.
You looked at me,
You took my breath away.
I remember seeing you again,
I remember thinking what were the chances.
You walked right up to me looked me in my eyes,
They were like the light to the end of tunnel.
I remember knowing that you were the one,
I remember my heart skipping a beat every time I saw you.
Now seeing you was no random occurrence.
It was like we were being drawn into each others lives.
I remember the day I moved,
I remember telling you that I would miss you.
I didn’t know how I was going to keep going,
Missing you was an understatement.
I remember that we still talked,
I remember feeling that every time we talked I was losing you.
Before I knew it my heart was ripped in two.
We no longer talked.
I remember the first time I saw you with her.
I remember being thrown back into that tunnel.
But this time it was pitch black,
But she was the one who was given the light.
I remember loving you.
