I remember the first time we said hi

I remember the first time we said goodbye

I remember growing up with you by my side

I remember how you were there for me when I cried

I remember when I was there for you when you couldn't cry

Now I remember waiting not knowing when I will see you again

My dreams were taken away from me

But mostly you were taken away from me

I know I will see you again but do not know when that will be

I keep telling myself that it will be okay

But it doesn't people keep telling me that

I know, I know but no matter what life throws at me I have to get through it all

Cause he is in control 

I have my family and friends to help me through it all.

Even though I have all them

It still hurts 

I won’t forget

I will remember.
