I Remember

I remember the first time I felt you, the first time I heard you, the first time I saw you, I remember staying up all hours of the night to kiss and comfort you tight I remember when you counted on me to scare the monsters away and how you wanted me to stay I remember the day you lost you first tooth and the day of your first lemonade booth I remember your football, soccer, and basketball games that seemed to go on all day. I remember the look on your face when you graduated and the heartbreak that I was soon to face Now you are all grown up and I wish you the best of luck I love you my son, my baby, my treasure
