I Remember

I remember the good old days Where all we did was eat, sleep, and play. We ran around all day long, Singing a bunch of different songs. We were all friends then I don't see how, But something happened, because we aren't now. Our perfect little world fell apart Some were upset, we'd have to restart. I'm not so sure when I'm not so sure where But our poor little world had a huge tear. I remember the good old days Where all we did was eat sleep and play. We ran around all day long Singing a bunch of different songs We were all friends then I don't see how But something happened, because we aren't now. Some ask why Some ask how I ask why then and why not now Some think it was good Some think it was bad I'm indifferent I'm not mad Some do damage control Others try to build and repair And others they just sit there I remember the good old days Where all we did was eat, sleep, and play We ran around all day long Singing a bunch of different songs We were all friends then I don't see how But something happened, because we aren't now. Oh what's the use? No one cares anymore Even though it hurt some down to the core I'm not going to waste my time I'm not going to shed a tear Because our once so perfect little world was never crystal clear.
