I Remember

Memories are special

Like the time I remember when I first tried my momma's chess pie

with sweetness on the side because she made it for me and my brothers and sister

Like the time I spent a whole day with my mom and a plate of Hunan Express man

I swear it was the best.

Like the times I spent with my dad swinging me around by the tree

and a big smile on our face thanking god I have a father in my life

teaching me how to be a man.

I remember and im thankful to my Mom and Dad for giving me a life to live.

Thank you.
