I Remember It All

I remember swallowing a whole bottle of ibuprofen

Hoping it would stop the pain of my aching heart

I remember sobbing on my bedroom floor

With my mother standing over me shocked

I remember nearly passing out

Because I cut too deep and lost so much blood

I remember hooking up with random boys

Hoping they would replace what you took

I remember meeting someone new

The way he never gave up on me like you did

I remember feeling happy for the first time in months

When I was with him

I remember moving on

I remember feeling free
