I remember looking up

Dear The love of my life,

You walked down the hall of a family church

I remember looking up

Meeting you erupted a spark

I like your dress, your first remark

You walked into the restaurant with me

I remember looking up

Being nervous and clumsy on our first date

You laughed at me spilling water, it was fate

You walked into my life after my mistake

I remember looking up

I was glad to see you again after two years

I got to hug you, no more fears

You walked next to me and held my hand

I remember looking up

I was nervous and unsure

You kept holding, love was premature

You walked into my house every weekend

I remember looking up

We did not express how we really felt

We wanted to kiss, cards were not dealt

You walked over and sat next to me

I remember looking up

I felt nervous, but that was my cue

We leaned and kissed, how nervous were you?

You walked into Prom with me

I remember looking up

With a smile on your face I knew

I was already yours, you understood too

You walked into my dorm with me

I remember looking up

We had tears and worries, had to unearth it

We deal with distance, was worth it

You walked with me through thick and thin

I remember looking up

I wonder, how do I deserve all of this?

You are my person; and, I love you Irandis

Love,

              Kaylee
