I Remember: My Dad

I remember when he used to hold me until I fell asleep

And tell me a story when I had a bad dream

I remember him laughing and holding my hand

After I cried from seeing a very strange man

I remember he used to rap and sing songs

And laughed when he got the verse wrong

I remember when he used to pick me up and run away

When my mom just happen to be after me

I remember on my birthday he bought me a cake

But my mom yelled at him because he was late

I remember the day he passed away

And feeling the world crash down on me
