I reside beneath the Waters

I reside beneath the Waters -

Awaiting chance to breathe

The Sun dangles above me

My Lungs yearn - and seethe -

Ocean - the oppressor -

Strangling the Aquatic

The Dawn is thwarted -

The soul - nearly Catatonic

Hoisted by ethereal Flames -

Gasping for Existence

Head aloft The battle -

Still the Body in Resistance --
