I Rise

I rise from the deceit I rise from the hurt I rise from the violation You do not control me, I am free. I rise from the pain I rise from the shame I rise from the tears Your power is harmless here. I rise from the ache I rise from the hate I rise from the disgust You are forgiven, You are forgotten Forever free from the abyss of my mind No longer do you live in my hatred No longer do you survive on my fear You are forgiven, You are forgotten I rise I rise I rise
