I run to you

When things go from bad to worse,

Or go from good to bad.

I run to you.

I run to you

In my rocky moments,

In my unsteady ones.

You are there to carry me.

I run to you

Even after I no longer wanted you around

When I swore and cussed because I didn’t want you in my life.

You still welcomed me back

I run to you

You offer to carry me in my times of struggle

In my dark times

You never left my side

Which is why

I run to you,

In prayer or nature

I can find you
