I Said No.
I haven’t been to that building in 6 years.
I used to not be able to drive by it.
I think about that night a lot. And tell myself that it doesn’t matter because nothing actually happened.
It still matters.
No, nothing did happen, but that doesn’t make what did okay.
I was 15.
He knew better.
I said no.
He said let’s play the nervous game.
I said no.
I was 15.
And he knew better.
