I Sang a Song To Sirens
i sang a song to Sirens
and even they cried for me,
i told them what you promised
and how you chose to leave,
I sang a song to Sirens
as my soul began to bleed
old wounds under new ones
i was hoping for Death's peace;
I sang a song to Sirens
wishing they would see,
i had no one now, no one.
so i quieted my soul. an began to sing.
I sang a song to Sirens
quieting my soul's scream.
singing made up my tears,
the tears that no one sees.
