I Saw an Airplane

Rushed out of school, without a clue in the world

Thousands of people died in the last half hour

Moms, dads, sons, and daughters..

                                                                Gone.

On the big screen in the middle of the living room,

                The display showed the terror.

Colors,

Gray, black, a little of red

The Twin Towers had collapsed, people erased.

I saw an airplane.
