I saw it

I saw it

The movie is what I saw

I got a lump in my throught before it began,

Flashes of Fruitville are raw

The salty tears, stream down in the present and for the past

I am a young Black girl living in an Amerikkkan world

My voice is starting to be proud

My thoughts need to be heard

I however feel the need to conceal

I conceal the hurt but I can't conceal the terror

Like everytime my dad is is simply pulled over, my body feels the need to cry

I don't trust a single man in a blue uniform

That's because I do not see a Kind eye

There needs to be a change, and I know exctly how

Maybe at Howard My voice will be developed

That way each and everyone of us can share it
