I See

Everything I do,

every where I stare,

all I see is reminders

reminders of you,

reminders that keep me sane,

reminders that make me feel insane,

everywhere I go,

people look at me funny,

they step away when I come close,

they point,

they clutch their bags,

they even look the other way,

my friends say I need help,

they say I'm crazy

but I know I'm not crazy

I know your there,

you speak to me at night

you tell me all my wrongs,

please stay with me

please don't go like the rest

but you go anyway,

I was calling your name

but you never shown up,

I cried for you, and I promised myself I would not cry

I SHOUTED for you, not once but twice

I even prayed for you, not even God could answer

but you never shown up

maybe my friends are right

maybe I am crazy.
