I See The Light

In this dark room

I have a choice -

Life of Death

Life is filled with suffering and pain

Whilst Death seems to be the only escape for me

But wait -

I see a door

I see a light

What does this mean?

Is this a sign?

I have been stuck here for days

Pondering a solution

I have found it -

I shall walk towards the light and let the Lord guide me

Life has everything, and in my life, I have to assign a meaning

This is what I'm going to miss

Yet this is a reason to stay

I refuse to be remembered as the girl that ended her life because she refused to see the light

I am now going to change that

I want to see the light

I want to assign my life meaning

And that's exactly what I'm going to do

As I walk towards the light
