I See You


I see you...fell for this cult of personality.
I see you eat up his edifying yet

dissonant, disgusting hate.

I see you glom onto his grand metaphors

as he twists you into your own resolve.
 

This has to be bad for your spiritual self.

 

I see...it’s impossible to reconcile this

belief in him and not have a vacant Psalm.

I see this cultish patronage of him at odds

with the body of Christ.  

I see the greatest hypocrisy of this generation

was granted concession to lay its pious design on you.
